We drill accurately placed, correctly sized blast holes for the explosive charges that break rock ahead of loading. Hole diameter, depth, spacing and burden are set to the bench design, so fragmentation stays controlled and the loaders, haul trucks and crushers that follow can run efficiently.
Holes are drilled on line and on grade against the mine's blast plan, reducing overbreak, flyrock and vibration while improving dig rates for the load and haul fleet. Our drill crews and equipment are set up for the pattern spacings used in open-pit production blasting.
