We provide exploration drilling to sample the ground ahead of mine planning, using diamond core drilling for continuous, intact rock samples and reverse circulation (RC) drilling for faster, lower-cost chip sampling at depth. Core drilling gives a solid cylindrical sample suited to detailed geological logging and structural analysis, while RC drilling delivers crushed cuttings from a known depth, suited to grade control and resource definition over larger areas.
Drilling is planned to the target depth, hole spacing and orientation set by the geological programme, so the samples answer the questions the exploration team is asking — whether that is testing a new prospect or converting an existing target into a defined resource. Our crews and rigs are set up for both early-stage and infill exploration programmes.
